In order to comply with security requirements of our major customers in the insurance and legal sectors, Speechpad has developed a comprehensive set of policies and procedures governing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of private customer data, confidential system data, and confidential business information. In addition, we have undergone multiple security audits, and we have continuous monitoring in place to protect against external threats.
Private customer data is secured using industry-standard algorithms such as AES 256-bit encryption, and access to customer files is only available on an as-needed basis. Our transcribers and proofreaders, and quality control personnel are required to sign a confidentiality agreement which governs the treatment of customer data, including its destruction upon job completion. We do not share customer data or personally identifiable information with outside parties.
